Amex Network Timeout Test Card Numbers

Amex · Network Timeout: network_timeout introduces a ~10s delay before the gateway responds. Use it to test client timeouts, webhook retry storms, and queue workers that assume fast responses.

American Express uses 15-digit card numbers and separate CVV rules. MockCard generates Amex-shaped test data so formatting validators pass before you hit a real gateway.

When to use: Load tests and resilience checks where your HTTP client timeout is shorter than gateway latency.

CI tip: Run with webhook_url set to measure whether your handler times out before the event arrives.

Typical decline_code in webhook payloads: processing_error.
